Taking SKELAXIN® 800mg (metaxalone) Tablets
SKELAXIN® is for adults and children over 12 years of age. The suggested dose of SKELAXIN® is one 800mg tablet 3 to 4 times a day.6
SKELAXIN® does not contain gluten or lactose. SKELAXIN® does contain cornstarch.6
Women who are or may become pregnant should not take SKELAXIN® unless, in the judgment of the healthcare professional, the potential benefits outweigh the possible hazards.6 As a general rule, breastfeeding should not be undertaken, since many drugs are excreted in human milk.6
