Fathie2 enrolled a total of 200 patients in 2 sequential double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled studies (n=100 each) of
SKELAXIN®. All patients had low-back pain or discomfort with muscle spasm or acute soft-tissue injury and received either
SKELAXIN® 800mg or placebo QID for 7 days. Outcome data were based on those patients who completed the study. Study 1:
